Three hours a week is enough
A structured three-week induction, then a twelve-week commitment. We do not run one-off volunteer days.
We run a structured three-week induction with a written role description, a safeguarding briefing, and a paired shift with an experienced volunteer. After induction, you commit to twelve weeks. We will do a coffee at week six. After twelve weeks you decide whether to stay.
We do not run one-off volunteer days, and we do not host visiting school groups. Both take more staff time than they return.
